Between 1929 and 1933, the Dresden Reichsbahn Headquarters also procured baggage cars to go with the standard design passenger cars. The Werdau and Bautzen wagon factories built 33 of these vehicles for the Saxon narrow-gauge railways. Apart from a few decommissionings, most of the vehicles have been modernized since 1981. However, some carriages still exist in their original appearance.
