This vehicle was built in 1922 by the Waggonfabrik Bautzen. Between 1912 and 1922, more than 100 vehicles of this type were procured by the Saxonian narrow-gauge railways. The original wooden paneling of the vehicles was largely replaced by sheet metal paneling. Some of these vehicles are still in use today in their original form.
