Description

One of the classic locomotives in Western Germany is this V200.1 or BR 221. It was introduced in 1962 and in service until 1988 for the Deutsche Bahn. At first it was made for transporting passengers but later on, it was mainly used for cargo trains. Even today this locomotive can be found on the tracks in Germany servicing private companys.

The model was made in cooperation with M. Kernl of spurdrei.de. It has total length of 42.5 mm and is coloured as the original when it started service. The model has no operating lights.
